Check

  • Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators
  • Check ‘Check Control’ messages. Check indicators and warning lights

Diagnose/Test

  • Data Link Connector
  • Perform diagnostic quick test

Inspect

  • Air Bag System

    • SRS airbag units (visual) for torn covers, obvious damage or attachment of stickers

  • Battery

    • State of battery change (magic eye), recharge if needed

  • Body and Frame

    • Check for damage and corrosion

  • Brake Hose/Line

    • Brake system connections and lines: check for leaks, damage and wear

  • Coolant

    • Coolant level and concentration. Record freeze point

  • Dimmer Switch

    • Headlamp flasher

  • Fluids

    • Inspect underbody for visible signs of fluid leakage

  • Hazard Warning Flasher
  • Horn
  • Lighting and Horns

    • Instrument cluster lighting, headlamps, tail lamps, marker lamps, turn signals, back-up, license plate, interior, map reading, sun visor, glovebox, luggage area and flashlight

  • Mirrors

    • Rear view mirror function

  • Power Steering Fluid
  • Seat Belt System

    • Seat belts: condition and function

  • Steering

    • Check play, clearance, leaks, damage and wear

  • Tires

    • Inspect tires for damage, wear, inflation pressure, condition. Record tread depth

  • Vehicle

    • Final inspection (road test): brakes, steering, transmission, shock absorbers (visual)

  • Wiper and Washer Systems

    • Headlamp washer function, windshield washer function, windshield wipers and washer fluid level and concentration

Replace

  • Brake Flush
  • Cabin Air Filter

    • Every Engine Oil Service: Replace A/C microfilter

  • Engine Oil
  • Oil Filter, Engine
  • Fuel Filer
